SatX Online API - Showcase

This is the most powerful tool of the API. By selecting the right parameters, the API will return a collection of swaths of the selected satellite(s) for the designed areas of interest. You will also find a collection of constraints to be applied to the request so that the results are closer to the desired quality.

From this example it will be possible to visualize the interactions between antennas and satellites and also between satellites themselves. A visual connection will be displayed as soon as two objects are close enough to set a connection between them.

The API also offers a collection of eclipses (for the moment only solar ones are available) both from the past and from the future. You will find this list loaded on the right side panel; once you click one of the available eclipses (the ones with a green icon on the right) the API will return the timed positions of the center, umbra and penumbra of the eclipse.

This example will show the results of invoking the scenarios, satellites and constellations listings. The entire structure will be loaded on a side tree and, by clicking any of the displayed satellites, the API will return the satellite positions as well as its orbit for the next 24h.

This example will show the results of invoking the antennas listings. The entire structure will be loaded on a side tree allowing you to toggle the antenna visualization.

This example will show the results of invoking the areas of interest listings including root and children nodes. The entire structure will be loaded on a side tree allowing you to toggle the area visualization.
